Its  taken a while, but we’re happy to announce that phase 1 of our website redesign is nearly over.

We started with a website redesign some time ago on our web development server and as we progressed to a point where we could move our new website content to the live server we did so. At this stage there are very few links which still point to the old content and within a few days those will be moved over.

Next in phase 2 is making sure that all of the custom applications which work in the background are compatible.

Why the website redesign?

Well, its pretty cool. But there’s more to it than that. We needed a web design which was easier to maintain. We wanted a website framework we could easily build on and extend, either through custom, in-house written plugins, or through commercially or freely available existing plugins.

Most important of all though, we wanted a responsive web design, that is, it needs to look like it was made for PC when you view it on a PC, but it needs to look like it was MADE for a mobile when you look at it on your mobile.
